things to try when you feel ugly
(a list for me, by me)
- get a haircut
- get your nails done
- wash your face
- stretch
- eat an apple
- put on a nice dress
- (or anything else that you feel good in)
- curl your lashes
- put on lipstick
- go for a walk
- melt some wax
- draw
- go to sleep (tomorrow you might feel different)
- play loud music and dance around your room
- read a book
- lie down and breathe
- know that most of the time this is a feeling that will pass, and not an objective fact
- remember there are much worse things to be in the world than ugly, anyway
